TCCL has offered a variety of programs & events during Teen Read Week that include films, interactive murder mysteries, gaming & crafting, a Goth prom with PC & Kristin Cast, an Anime Minicon with Mark Crilley and the Gallagher Academy Heist with Ally Carter. Teen Read Week proper is October 16-22, but TCCL will celebrate during the entire month of October! You can check our online event guide to see what is happening at the other branches.

STARRING GENE YANG! 

The event will include a presentation by Mr. Yang followed by a Q&A session and book signing, a minicomic workshop, mangabrary – where you can get a new library card & check out books and DVDs, vendors & demonstrators and a cosplay contest. Winners of the Anime Mini-Con art contest will be announced & their pieces will be on display. The first 200 teen attendees will receive a free copy of American Born Chinese thanks to a grant from the Hardesty Family Foundation.
