BA Teen Film Contest

The Broken Arrow Library is hosting a Teen Underground Film Festival & Contest for Summer 2013!

**The first prize film will win a $50 gift card**

Teens in 6th-12th grades can enter films up to 10 minutes in length between June 1 - July 27.  Films will be premiered & prizes awarded at the Festival on August 1 at 6pm.  Attend the following programs at the Broken Arrow Library to learn about filmmaking and/or create films to be entered in the contest.

Stop Motion Animation Series

Teen Tech Month: Stop Motion Animation Series

Wednesdays, March 7, 14, 21 @ 3pm

Create a Stop Motion Animated short film.

March 7 - Puppet Making - Learn the techniques for making clay figures and wire puppets for animation.

March 14 - Photography - Photograph the figures frame by frame to create the scenes of the film.

March 21 - Animation - Use computer software to animate the pictures and add sound and titles to the film.

Bottle Cap Picture Frames

Teens and tweens, come out to the Judy Kishner Library to make decorated bottle caps into necklaces or key chains.  Show off your creative skills by making cool bottle cap creations to keep for yourself or to give as a gift!  Don't miss it!  For ages 10-18.
