The Broken Arrow Library is hosting a Teen Underground Film Festival & Contest for Summer 2013!

**The first prize film will win a $50 gift card**

Teens in 6th-12th grades can enter films up to 10 minutes in length between June 1 - July 27.  Films will be premiered & prizes awarded at the Festival on August 1 at 6pm.  Attend the following programs at the Broken Arrow Library to learn about filmmaking and/or create films to be entered in the contest.

Underground Film Festival Kick-off & Viral Video Challenge

Saturday, June 1 · 1:30-3:30pm Learn about the film contest and participate in a 90 minute video challenge where participants will plan, film, edit and view 2 minute videos.  Class size is limited.  Call 918-549-7500 to register.

Stop Motion Animation Workshops – Parts I & II

Part I – Thursday, July 11 · 2:30-4pm & Part II – Thursday, July 18 · 2:30-4pm - Learn about and create your own stop-motion film.  We will photograph clay figures frame-by-frame to create the scenes of a film in part I.  We will use software to animate the pictures, add sound, and create titles to finish the film in part II.  Class size is limited.  Call 918-549-7500 to register

Underground Film Festival Finale

Thursday, August 1 · 6:00pm - We will premiere all the film festival entries and award prizes to the winners.  Seating is limited and provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
