BATAB: LittleBits
Tuesday, March 8 • 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Join us for the Broken Arrow Teen Advisory Board (BATAB). Give input on library programming while enjoying snacks and LittleBits invention circuits. Teens who attend will receive up to one hour of community service.

Teen Advisory Board: Make a Robot!
Friday, March 4 • 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Try your hand at robotics! We'll experiment with Cubelets, which are building blocks for creating small-scale robots. We'll also explore the "guts" of a computer. For ages 12-18. 

Wind Toys
Friday, March 25 • 3:15-4:30 p.m.
Learn how to make a simple kite. For ages 10-17. Seating is limited.

Tech Tech Revolution
Monday, March 7 • 3:30-5:30 p.m.
Come to the library for an introduction to our digital services. Find out more about our free digital eBooks, audiobooks and magazines; movie streaming; music downloads and more. Laptops will be available to explore these services at your leisure and maybe even for a quick game of agar.io too! For ages 10-18.

3-D Printer Demonstration
Monday, March 7 • 3-4 p.m.
Join Tim Smith from the Librarium for a fun demonstration of Tulsa City-County Library's 3-D printer. For ages 10-18. 

Amazing Cubelets: Mini Robots!
Wednesday, March 23 • 4-5 p.m.
These amazing mini robots snap together and make bigger robots that think, move and follow directions. Snap a few together and see what you can make it do. For ages 10-18. 

3-D Printer Demonstration

Minecraft Gaming

Put your imagination to the test building your own world in the popular game Minecraft. For ages 11-18.

Hacking With Raspberry Pi
Saturday, March 12 • 2:30-3:30 p.m.
Location: Digital Lounge 
Hack a computer at the library with our Raspberry Pi computers! Find out what it means to be a computer hacker and how to program your own computer. 

Create It @ Your Library
Tuesday, March 8 • 4-6 p.m.
Make STEAM art and technology with bead bracelets, key chains, cellphone charms, bobbles and more. Sign-up slots open for 3-D art pen, CreoPop design station or get snappin' with Snap Circuits. For ages 13-18. Call 918-549-7631 to sign up. Sponsored by the Friends of the Helmerich Library.

Saturday, March 19 • 2-3 p.m.
Use your imagination to build cool creations, plus make a maze to race against others. We will have LEGOS, but you may bring your own. For ages 10-18.

Cubelet Creature Creation
Tuesday, March 8 • 4-5 p.m.
Create cubed robots that will roll, spin and twist at the flick of your wrist. For ages 13-17. 

Wednesday, March 9 • 3-5 p.m.
Into robots? Come and try out Cubelets by Modular Robotics. Each magnetic cube has different capabilities. Combine them to see what they can do. For teens. 

Sperry Spring Break Teen Gaming

Join us for three days of Wii gaming tournaments. Test your skills for a chance to win candy prizes. 

Teen Lounge
Wednesdays, March 23, 30 • 3-5 p.m.
Learn about stop-motion photography. Bring your phones, digital cameras or handheld gaming devices that take pictures. We'll watch some examples from master filmmakers and then make a movie together. 

Library Online Services
Wednesday, March 16, 2016 • 4-4:45 p.m.
Learn to use the library's online services, such as streaming music, learning a new language and much more. For ages 12-16. 

Wednesday, March 23 • 4-5 p.m.
Make a giant version of the board game Operation. We'll use circuits, LEDs and buzzers to construct the game. Once it's finished, test your surgeon skills. For ages 10-18. 

Teen Time
Wednesday, March 2 • 4-5 p.m.
Location: Auditorium 
Come and see Kirby, Mario, Donkey Kong and all your old gaming friends on our Wii console. For ages 10-18. 

Minecraft Night
Wednesday, March 9 • 6-8 p.m.
Location: Computer Lab 
Come and create online dwellings and prepare against zombie invasions with Minecraft. For ages 10-18. 

Grab a Prop! Strike a Pose!
Tuesday, March 15 • 3-5 p.m.
Bring friends, props and your creativity for photography fun. Learn how to make photo strips and print several free colored photo strips to take home for memories. Computer instructions and some props will be provided. For ages 12-18. 

Pixel Designs
Monday, March 14 • 3:30-4:45 p.m.
Create pixelated designs with Perler beads. For ages 9-18.

Stop Motion Animation and Retro Tech Museum
Tuesday, March 15 • 3:30-4:45 p.m.
Come one, come all with your phone or tablet or just as you are! Learn how to make Stop Motion Animation like "Wallace and Gromit," "Shaun the Sheep" or "Chicken Run." Plus, view a Retro Tech Museum display. For ages 9-18.

Create circuit-board earrings, keyboard necklaces, repurposed and recycled art, or your own creations from old computer and electronic parts. Help take apart the old computers and electronic equipment too! While you're here, view our Retro Tech Museum display. For ages 9-18. 

Get Your Game On

Play games with us on our Wii and Xbox. For ages 9-18.

3-D Printer Demo
Monday, March 14 • 3-4 p.m.
Learn about 3-D printing as we make fun items on the 3-D printer plus answer questions. For ages 11-17.


Connect to Cubelets!
Tuesday, March 15 • 3-4:30 p.m.
Cubelets are the cutest cubes which can be ramped up into rambunctious robots! Join the Cubelets craze and see how your robot will roam! For ages 10-18. Registration is required. Seating is limited. Call 918-549-7638 to register.

Hacking With Raspberry Pi

Location: Greenwood Room 
Hack a computer at the library with our Raspberry Pi computers! Find out what it means to be a computer hacker and how to program your own computer. We'll also use Cubelets robot blocks to learn how to build a robot.
