The Underland Chronicles

Gregor the Overlander

"The Underland series is a dramatic series that leaves you hanging at every page! It was action-packed. It is about a family, Gregor, Boots, Lizzie, Mom and Dad. Gregor is doing laundry when Boots falls, Gregor jumps after her, falling, falling, falling, and falling. He lands near Regalia and gets caught up with prophecy. The end is horrible in my opinion. Other than that it is one of the best series of books I have read."

My Life in Black and White

My Life in Black and White

"The main character of this book has her identity tied up in her beauty. A freak car accident canges her face into a scarred mess. She has to come to terms with who she is. Overall it's an interesting story of finding out who you are. (At some moments the main character is absorbed in self-pity. It becomes a little monotonous, but other than that the books is very good!)"

Teen Review: Hard Love

"It's a madly brilliant novel entirely about independent teen writers brought together by their fascination to know one another's true identities and find who they are through their own home made magazines. It's a brilliant book and always keeps you fascinated, especially the surprise end. It was great. It'll change your perspective of teenagers for a very long time."

Teen Review: Mythology, The DC Comics Art of Alex Ross

"It's Alex Ross's little details that get me.  Look right in front of Iron Man, you'll see a tiny Wasp, and the thing in the background looks to be Ant-Man's mask while he's in Giant mode. Those little subtleties are what makes Alex a great artist. I highly recommend picking this up if you haven't done so already. Even if you're not an aspiring artist, it's still a great coffee table book."

Teen Review: The Avengers movie

"The Avengers was one of my favorite comic books as a kid. They now made a movie, and it was suprisingly good."

You can find a copy of Marvel's The Avengers on DVD here, and on BluRay here.

Don't forget the library also carries the comics, so you can read those while you wait for the movie!
