Cubelets for Teens
Tuesday, March 28 • 6-7 p.m.
What are Cubelets and what can you do with them? Come to the library and find out! For ages 12-18.

BROKEN ARROW LIBRARY
Adventures in STEAM
Friday, March 3 • 2-3 p.m.
Want to learn more about how computer programs work? Join us for a hands-on coding workshop for ages 9-12. Registration is required. Call 918-549-7323 to register.

Join the 2017 Teen Team!

TEEN TEAM volunteers assist librarians with Tulsa City-County Library activities during the annual library Summer Reading Program and get hands-on job experience. 2017 Teen Team applications are attached below. Interested teens can fill out an application (attached below) and return it to the library location where they are interested in volunteering.

Applicants should be: 

♦ 13-15 years old

♦ Able to work for several hours a week this summer at a Tulsa City-County Library .

♦ Interested in gaining job experience, helping your local library, working with children and having fun!

2017 Young People's Creative Writing Contest Results!

 

Thank you to everyone who entered this year's Young People's Creative Writing Contest! We had over 400 entries this year to send to our judges -- wow! Below is a full list of winners, and attached at the bottom of this blog post are scanned copies of the winning entries (coming soon!). Winners will be honored in an award ceremony on Friday, May 5, at 7 pm, at the Hardesty Regional Library's Connor's Cove Theatre. All are welcome to attend the ceremony and hear author Laurie Halse Anderson speak about writing, books, and her life as an author. Congratulations to all the winners!
