An Ember in the Ashes

The debut novel about family, brothers, treason, romance and more!

Laia and Elias are headed in the same direction, although they are not aware of the fact.  Laia's brother has committed treason in the eyes of the establishment and now Laia must take charge of the situation.  The empire and the commandant rule the story, but friendship and slavery play an unusual part in the plot.  An up and down adventure through the desert with folklore mixed in for spice to temper the war that is raging in the ashes.

Gaiman's spellbinding read - The Sleeper & the Spindle

As expected, Gaiman takes you on a fantasy ride; the queen and her dwarfs set out to help the princess in the nearby kingdom. A Sleeping-Beauty readalike indeed with Gaiman's twist of the tale. Incredible illustrations, fantastic story! Check out more of Gaiman's fantasy at  http://neilgaiman.com/works/Books/
