2014 High School Sequoyah Award Nominees List

Did you know there's a popular choice award in Oklahoma for young adult books? YOU can vote on which book should win! Every year, the Oklahoma Library Association puts out a list of nominated titles so that teens can vote on which title should win the award. The 2014 High School Sequoyah Award will be awarded in April 2014. All you have to do to vote is read at least three titles from the list, then select your pick on the voting ballot that you can pick up in your school or library starting in March! But why stop at three books? Why not read all 15? Challenge your friends to read as many as they can, and then you can all vote for your favorite! Quiz your librarians on how many they've read! (I've read 8 so far...) Here's a handy list you can use to request the books from your library's catalog: http://bit.ly/1gXUDc7
