Have you heard of NaNoWriMo? That's National Novel Writing Month, where people all over the world commit to writing 50,000 words of fiction during the month of November. If you love to write, sign up for NaNoWriMo either in their main program or in their young writers program. Join writers all around the globe as they write fast and furious to get out that first draft of a novel! Also, Tulsa Library's Young People's Creative Writing Contest is just around the corner--entries are accepted from February 1 - March 4, 2016.

Do you NaNoWriMo? November is National Novel Writing Month. "It's a fun, seat-of-your-pants writing event where the challenge is to complete an entire novel in just 30 days. " Last year 300,000 people participated in the NanoWriMo challenge.
