We’re freeing the books–and the movies, music, and all of the other wonderful things the library has to offer! We are proud to announce that we are the first library in Oklahoma to join the Libhub Initiative. We are using Linked Data and a new cataloguing standard (BIBFRAME) to publish our collections to the Open Web, increasing their visibility and closing the huge discovery gap.
Did you know you can learn another language from the library? Your library card gives you access to Mango Languages for free--they even have an app! They offer access to over 60 languages, including Cherokee, Spanish, Korean, French, and more, like Pirate, Medical Spanish, Biblical Hebrew, Canadian French, and other awesome languages.
